Pictures of Nepal!

Please be praying for me as I teach at the Bible school in Thailand for the next 2 weeks! I'm believing for a major impartation in Jesus name!

Nepal was a High!!!
We have arrived safely back from Nepal, Praise God!! Thank you for all your prayers! Myself, Kim B and Amanda W. really felt them!
We arrived in Kathmandu on Feb. 27th and Pastor Chandra and his family met us at the Airport. ( P. Chandra himself had just arrived from S. Africa so it was a very warm welcome for all of us!)
We slept at the Bible School the first night and the next day headed out to the mountains with 11 Bible school students.
It was a 5hr ride in a packed Van to the beginning of our expedition. Thank you Lord for the gift to sleep just about anywhere!
That night we slept in a little Church by the river and the next morning, bright and early we headed out.
We waded through the fast moving mountain river at least 10 times, ( not including a quick swim time!) and scaled a beautifuly tiered mountain before reaching our first village.
That night, like many to come, we preached to pretty much the whole village in the community school yard! The Bible school students started off with some music to draw people in. It began to rain that night so we crammed everyone into an un-lit school room and presented the Gospel message! That night 30 people came to the front of the classroom to recieve the Lord!
We ate our rice that night by candle light and then went to bed wearing our Jackets, sweaters, pants ect! It was freezing in the mountains so we did whatever we could to stay warm!
The next ten days were quite similar. We would have our morning Tea, pack our bags and either hike over a few mountains on goat-paths or walk and wade through a river valley to get to the next village.
On average we would hike 2-4hrs a day over some encredibly difficult terrain! The views though from the top of these mountains were just encredible!
During the day we would prepare for the evening service, get cleaned up with any available water (many of the Villages had none!) and sometimes we would go door to door inviting people to the meeting.
We saw 2 men with bad backs get healed, were able to pray for many babies with fevers and prayed over a few witch doctors.
Many of the villages that we went to grew marijauna as way to support themselves. We saw fields and fields of it everywhere. Many of the christians also grew it to make money. It is ilegel in Nepal to grow Marijauna but in the remote mountains nothing is done to prohibit it.
So many of these 'Japang' villages that we preached in were Maoists. We saw many children suffering malnutrition, and many of them were just barely surviving on what they grew on the mountains.
After over a week of preaching to over 12 villages we walked back to the Highway along the river valley and headed to Kathmandu.
In Kathmandu we were able to relax, do some shopping, eat some western food and wrap up everything for the TV show.
The last night before leaving I had the honor of speaking at the Bible school graduation! I spoke on vision because without a long term vision we are just wandering aimlessly in life.
I am teaching at the Bible school for 2 weeks so please be praying that God would give me the tongue of the learned and I would be able to communicate Church History in a practical, effective way!

Off To NEPAL!!!!!!
Hey everybody!!! How are you? How are things in your part of the
world?
It's been a while since I wrote all of you about things here! So
sorry about that!! It's been wild!!
I almost have to start back in January to fill you in! I will keep
it short I promise!
After Christmas I was back in Poipet for 10 days, re-united with Tim
Lindberg who stayed there over the break, came back to to Thailand
and saw Tim off to Canada, where I believe he immediately got
engaged!! You're the man Lindberg!!
After that I went with VBCI to Northern Thailand for a two week
Ministry/Character building trip! This trip was always the hi-lite
of my year when I was student at VBCI! I missed it last year so I
promised myself that I had to do it this year!
It took us 2 days to get to our base camp which was somewhere near
the Burma/Thai border.
We stayed at this old Ranger station that was right by a little
river, it was ideal!
For two weeks we lived in a bamboo framed tent, cooked over an open
fire, and went out to surrounding villages every night to preach and
pray for the sick in Hill-tribe villages.
We saw people come to the Lord, healed and encouraged!
We also did a 2 day hike at the end of the trip and it was truly a
test for both staff and students! It was a test of character and
team-work for all and I know that I learned a lot! ( Hiking over
mountain ranges with 20 people for hours on end and nobody really
knows where they're going is not for the feint of heart!)
Besides one girl from China breaking her foot, it was a great trip!!
We had some great times just worshiping under the stars, having
baths in the river, and drinking hot-Milo!!
Once back in Sriracha I met my friend Richard Krahn and took him out
to Poipet! We had a great 10 days or so ministering together, buying
things for the ministry and cruising around on my Bike wherever the
Lord let us!
Then Henry Schmidt came to spy out the land! We rocked in the
churches together and really had some powerful Holy Ghost times!
Praise God! Students from Henry's Bible school are coming to Poipet
on April 4th for two weeks, we are expecting great things!
This last week we baptised 13 young people and hosted a YWAM team
for 5 days.
The YWAM team did everything from picking up garbage for an hour,
praying for Aids patients, doing kids ministry in the slum and
random music outreaches all over Poipet!! They were truly a
blessing!
On Feb. 28th I am off to Nepal for a two week ministry trip. Kim
Boschman, Amanda Williams and myself will be going there to visit
the Victory churches in Kathmandu and in the Himilaya mountains. We
will be hiking through the mountains for a week preaching every
night, and then I believe we have some Conferences and meetings set
up in the capital.
After that trip I am back in Sriracha for a while to prepare for the
Church History course I am teaching.
Please pray that God gives me strength in the next few weeks, a
powerful annointing to preach the word accompanied by signs and
wonders, and to teach this course with a spirit of excellence!
Would love to hear from many of you so feel free to write my
anytime!

Short and Sweet!!
Hey yáll!! How is everyone doing?
Just wanted to let you know that I desperately need your prayers!!!
Was just reading in Timothy how we are to be set apart and focused just like a soilder who is fighting in a War!
The Word talks about how Christians are to be Soilders for Christ in many different passages. Why? Because we are in a WAR!!!
We have all heard messages on this topic, I have preached on this a few times, but I think I am just getting the revelation!
Mercy, I have been acting like a 'Civillian' for far to long when in fact, I have enlisted and am a Soilder!!
I know I need to set myself apart for the sake of the Gospel, and live a life that is above reproach! In many ways I have dropped the Ball on those 2 things.
If we call ourselves Christians, even those of us in full-time ministry, lets remember that we are in a War and the enemy has one goal, he wants to take us out!
I know I need to get refocused.
Bless you all as you take on the enemy in Jesus name!

Khmer Christmas!!!

Poipet Update!!!
Well I know this is late but hey, “Merry Christmas!”
I seriously pray you all had a great Christmas with your family and friends!
I spent Christmas day in Thailand at the beach, man was it sweet!!
Our International Church had a candle light service on the 24th, and on the 25th we had Christmas dinner with everyone involved in the ministry. I won’t lie to you, I ate enough for 3 Khmer men!!!
This last month in Cambodia has been wild!! We saw 35 people give their lives to Jesus and all 4 of our churches grew substantially, praise God! The Lord has truely been blessing the work in Poipet!
Our youth group is growing tremendously and many of our churches in the rural areas are growing in their faith big time!
Many of the people that we have been ministering to in the Aids clinic are recovering supernaturally, thank you Jesus!
I had the priveledge of having Tim Lindberg work with me this past month and man, we had a lot of fun teaching people the word of God!
He will be in Poipet until the 15th of January and then heads home to Canada. All 20 of the young Khmer men that he became close friends with will miss him a lot!
Tim and myself were actually able to take a road trip for a week and saw most of the country, it was awesome!! We rode on the roof racks of mini-vans, in pickup trucks full of pigs, buses with puking kids ect., you get the idea!!
We checked out the 1,000 yr old temples of Siem Reap, the killing fields and the S21 prison of Phnom Phen, and swam with the fish off the coast of Sihinoukville!
It was a very memorable trip as a 5 foot long white snake fell out of a tree on me as we hiked over a mountain!!!! Until that moment Tim had been super cool, but then he kind of lost it!!! No ones perfect!!!
In January I will be helping to lead the annual VBCI North Trip which is always a lot of fun. In February I will be off to Nepal to preach the Gospel in the Himalayas with a team from Sriracha. Were all supposed to be in training as the elevation is for real a killer!
In March I am back in Thailand teaching Church History at the Bible school and in May, I have the opportunity to go to Malaysia to preach at a Conference.
So yeah the future is very exciting and I am just pumped to see what God is going to do as we press in to know Him and the power of his ressurection!
I pray you all have a sweet New Year and will continue to delight yourselves in the Lord!! He is so good! His goodness leads me to repentence for real!!!!
